Said by a direct competitor, so weigh it carefully
When is Italiaonline the right choice.
It is not the courtesy section put at the end to seem balanced. These are six real reasons, and at least two of these are things that we, the way we are made, cannot offer you. If you recognize yourself in this, call them: telling you this costs us less than selling you something you don't need.
01Servicemade by them
If you really want to delegate, I am in the right category
Most of the Italian vendors we reviewed sell a tool to be used on your own, even if AI-assisted. Italiaonline does not: they sell a service created by them, with a clearly defined scope in black and white—pages, images, video, copywriting, review management, homepage updates, technical maintenance. Anyone looking for "they make the website for me" is looking for this category, and they are truly in it. So are we: that is precisely why this comparison is the most honest one we can make.
02800.011.411and the local branches
If you want a person, and you want them close
Deals are made by talking, not by clicking: toll-free number, free consultation, "We'll call you" button and, on the promotional landing page, the phrase "Talk to your nearest branch, it's free and with no obligation." For a segment of account holders, and not a small one, this matters more than any feature: having a name, a number, and someone who answers in your local area is a form of reassurance that an online form cannot replicate. We work remotely, and here we have nothing to offer to those who want to shake a hand.
03Singlesingle point of contact, a single invoice
If you also buy advertising inside the group
Italiaonline is the parent group of Libero and PagineGialle, and the website is one of the items in a much broader catalog of services listed on their pages. If you are already considering advertising on their channels, or are already doing so, keeping everything under a single contract, a single account manager, and a single invoice has a practical value that isn't marketing: it's time you don't spend coordinating different suppliers and re-explaining your business to each of them. We do only one thing, and you would have to buy everything else elsewhere.
0420 shotsin one year, on the Extra plan
If you need photos of yourself, and you don't have them
The Extra plan includes a photoshoot of twenty shots per year. It is content production, not software, and in our market it is rare: how the service is carried out is not detailed in the grid, but the item is there and included. On the Essential and Standard plans it is not included. We don't take the photos, we use the ones you have already published: if your photos are few or bad, this is a point in their favor and there is no point in beating around the bush.
0550 thousandmanaged sites, data declared by them
If the size of your provider matters to you
On the service page, citing the note "Source: Italiaonline Data," they declare over two hundred thousand websites created, over one hundred thirty million visits generated on client websites, and over fifty thousand websites managed in the past year. These are their figures, we report them as such and have not verified them. But the size of the company is verified, and it is a fact: Italiaonline S.p.A. is a structured company, subject to the management and coordination of Libero Acquisition, which in five years will in all probability still be around. The continuity of a supplier is a value that is only noticed when it is missing, and on that front, the big start ahead of the small, ourselves included.

If accessibility is an obligation for you
On the service page there is an explicit reference to the European Accessibility Act and compliance with accessibility standards. Among the commercial pages we read in this survey, it is one of the few where the topic appears, and it is a sign that someone inside the company is addressing it. Be careful about what we are saying and what we are not: we have not verified the level of accessibility of the sites they deliver, because we haven't seen them. We are saying that the topic is declared, which is still a better starting point than silence.
Bottom line: If you want to delegate and want to do it by talking to someone close to you, Italiaonline is on the right list. This page is meant to prepare you for the phone call, not to help you avoid it. We prefer a reader who buys the right thing elsewhere to a customer who realizes after three months that they bought something they didn't need.
