Download for free

If you sell small and large products together, you know the problem: you offer free shipping over a certain threshold, but when the customer adds an item bulky and expensive the system zeros out the shipping cost — and you lose money on the courier. This plugin avoids that, with three simple behaviors.

What does he/she/it do?

Disable bulky item disposal fee

If there is a bulky item in the cart, free shipping does not apply.

Hides paid fees

When free is legitimately available, the cart remains clear and the customer is not confused.

Customizable alert

On the bulky products page: text, position, and colors, all from settings, no code.

Light and clean

Single-file, no external services, no tracking. Fully translatable.

For whom

WooCommerce stores with a mix of small and bulky products, which lose profit margins due to improperly applied free shipping.

How does it work

  1. 1

    Create the shipping class

In WooCommerce → Shipping → Classes, create a class (for example, "Bulky") and copy its slug into the plugin settings.

  2. 2

    Set the rate

In your shipping zone, assign a cost to the special class, leave the cost for «no class» at zero, and choose the most expensive class calculation.

  3. 3

Assign the class to the products

For bulky products, in the Shipping tab, select the created class. From that moment on, the plugin does the rest, automatically.

  4. 4

The cart behaves as it should

With a bulky item in the cart, the free shipping disappears and the correct rate remains; without bulky items, and above the threshold, only the free one remains. Your notice appears on the bulky product page.

Requirements and compatibility

What the plugin doesn't do

  • It doesn't calculate rates for you. The costs remain the same as those you set in WooCommerce: the plugin only decides When Gratuitousness can apply.
  • You won't guess what's bulky. It is based exclusively on the shipping class you assign to the products.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do we need WooCommerce?
Yes: The plugin affects shipments and product pages in WooCommerce.
What products do you consider bulky?
Only those assigned to the shipping class whose slug you indicate in the settings. There is nothing preset: the control remains yours.
Can I use multiple shipping classes?
The plugin monitors the class you designate as «large.» The other classes continue to function normally under the WooCommerce rules.
What does the customer see on the product page?
A notice that you write yourself: title, text, position on the page, and colors are set from the panel, without touching code. If you prefer, you can also choose not to show it.
And if the customer has both standard and bulky products in the cart?
Free shipping does not apply: just one bulky item is enough to deactivate it, so you don't lose money on the courier.
Send data to someone?
No. No tracking, no external services, no remote scripts.
