Second Soul: Their Web Agency
When the site They do it.
The page is titled "YOUR NEW WEBSITE, EVEN IN WORDPRESS, WE'LL MAKE IT FOR YOU!" and it's the part of the price list that truly concerns us, because it's the only one comparable to what we sell. There's no shopping cart here: the buttons say "CONTACT US," and you connect via WhatsApp, phone, or a form to request a callback.
| Package | First Year, Simply Site | First year, WordPress | From the second year | What does it include |
|---|
| One Page Website | 300 € | 470 € | unpublished | 1 page, domain, and SSL, 10 boxes of 2 GB on the Simply Site platform |
| Smart Site | 780 € | 1590 € | unpublished | 6 pages, domain and SSL, 20 mailboxes of 2 GB on the Simply Site platform |
| E-commerce website | 1139 € | 2875 € | unpublished | 6 pages, e-commerce module and payment systems, 100 GB of hosting on the WordPress version |
All amounts are presented using the formula "for the first year". A necessary clarification on the VAT base: on these three pages It is not indicated whether the prices include or exclude VAT., the only instance
of the word "VAT" is the company’s VAT number in the footer. Therefore, unlike all
the other figures on this page, we do not know how to interpret these amounts, and we cannot
deduce their meaning. Note: On the index page, the three packages appear as "from €300,"
"starting at €780," and “from €1,590”; however, on the detail pages, the €1,590 refers to the
WordPress version of the Smart Site, while the e-commerce option starts at €1,139. Both figures appear on
their website, and we’ve included both here.
What still remains your responsibility, in their own words
Underneath the tables for the three packages is a note in an asterisk that is worth more than many comparisons,
because it accurately describes how the work is done. We reproduce it in full, without cuts: "The website developed by our web agency will have a standard structure. Logo design and creation are not included. However, you can modify and customize the site by accessing your client area and following our guides. For more extensive customizations, additional modules, or pages not included in the offer, the price may be increased. Once the site's structure is set up and the materials provided by the client are inserted as agreed, a preview link will be provided. You will be allowed to make one single modification executed by our web designers. We will not provide further modifications or updates. For any additional changes, you can proceed independently using the site's editor."
And the sentence that closes the note, which is the most useful of all for understanding who is bringing the content: "In the event that, within 15 days of the first contact with the consultant, no materials are provided by the client, the site will be published with standard content relevant to the client's industry."
There is nothing incorrect about this, and it is written before purchasing, which is already more than many do. But it says one specific thing: You bring the materials within fifteen days, and only one modification is included. This is the difference this page
tries to make visible, and it's the same one that applies against agencies: the tier that costs more is not the one that asks for less work from the owner; often, it's the one that asks for more.
